Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) was the first martial art to dominate the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and it remains one of the most effective forms of self-defence and an essential component of modern MMA.

A grappling-centric art, the goal of BJJ is to force your opponent into submission with joint locks and chokes. The emphasis is on technique and leverage and BJJ was designed to allow a smaller person defeat a stronger foe with ease.


Muay Thai

Muay Thai, “The Art of Eight Limbs”, is one of the most devastating striking arts in the world.

Utilizing punches, elbows, kicks and knees, Muay Thai teaches ring-proven techniques for the competitive arena and self-defence.

Although the Thai art is a challenging physical workout that will hone your balance, speed and power, Absolute MMA has classes for all fitness and skill levels.



An intricate and challenging sport, boxing calls for the use of punches combined with head movement, footwork, timing, intuition, power and speed. “The sweet science” is a simple art to learn but a difficult art to master.

Wrestling is one of the oldest sports in the world and a core part of mixed martial arts.

Absolute MMA and Conditioning’s wrestling program teaches takedowns, takedown defence and positional dominance for mixed martial arts, allowing you to dictate the flow of the fight.

Wrestling is also fantastic for developing explosive power, strength, balance and leverage skills.


FIT Classes

Absolute MMA and Conditioning offers a range of challenging and fun fitness programs for all fitness and experience levels that utilise elements of Boxing, Kickboxing and MMA.

Our Boxing FIT, Kickboxing FIT and MMA FIT programs use real combat sport techniques in a supportive and positive non-contact environment and they will quickly get you into fighting fit condition while teaching you a lot of new skills along the way.

Self Defenceself-defence

Self Defence Program aims is to develop your ability to respond to potentially threatening situations. The classes will predominantly utilise Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques and strategies that were originally developed to keep students safe in combative scenarios.

This is not a class where we will cover a multitude of alternatives for a single situation, but rather a reduced set of techniques that you will be able to utilise without delay should the need arise.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber in which the atmospheric pressure is raised up to three times higher than normal. Under these conditions, your lungs can gather up to three times more oxygen than would normally be possible and it greatly increases oxygen concentration in all body tissues, even areas with reduced or blocked blood flow (ie. injuries or wounds).

Specific benefits that may be of interest to athletes include faster healing of wounds, skin infections and burns and faster recovery from fractures and muscle and ligament injuries.
