His students have won multiple World Championship titles and our team is the only Australian team to ever win a IBJJF World Championships team trophy, the most prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition in the world.
Pradeep Singh Sihag is a professional boxer with a combined amateur and professional record of 144 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw. He is the WBC Asian Middleweight Champion, Pan Asian Boxing Association Middleweight Champion and Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation Asian Middleweight Champion.
He has been ranked as the #1 middleweight in Australia, #1 in Asia and #13 in the World.
He is a four-time National Champion in India and was a star of the FOX reality TV show, The Contender.
Maryanne Mullahy is a three-time World Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a two-time World Championship Silver Medallist and before receiving her Black Belt she was currently ranked as the #1 Brown Belt female in the world for no-gi jiu-jitsu.
A truly well-rounded martial artist, she has trained and fought Muay Thai in Thailand, has experience in professional MMA, and she has won silver at the Australian Cup in wrestling.
She has recently completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Physiology.
Laos “The Asian Bull” Toohey is one of the most highly respected striking coaches in Australia today, coaching over 35 champions in a variety of disciplines at every level including an I.S.K.A. Super Middleweight World Champion. Toohey was named Star Kickboxing Trainer of the Year 1998 and Kickboxing Trainer of the Century in 2000.
As a fighter, competing in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, karate and TKD, he is renowned for his perfect, undefeated record of 32 wins and 0 losses (15KO) and the number and variety titles that he captured.
Sean Le Gourrierec is a professional mixed martial artist with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss. He has been training and competing since 2009.
He is also an accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who has trained and competed in Brazil. He currently holds a brown belt and has won Pan-Pacific and Victorian Championships.
Simon Carson is a professional mixed martial artist with a record of 1 win and 0 losses, elite coach and Pan-Pacific Champion and Australian Champion at blue belt in BJJ. He currently holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Luke Catubig has been training martial arts since the age of 11 and competing in MMA since 2005. He holds an MMA record of 11 wins with 6 losses and has fought in Australian Fighting Championships and Hex Fighting Championships, two of the largest MMA organisations in Australia, as well as URCC in the Philippines.
In 2014, Luke scored the fastest knockout in Australian Fighting Championships history, stopping his opponent in 10 seconds.
Jeremy Wharerau is a former professional mixed martial artist with a record of 4 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw with one win coming via KO in a bout fought in America.
Although proficient in both striking and grappling, Jeremy’s approach to the mental aspects of training and fighting have seen his students to success at all levels, including bouts at Australian Fighting Championship, Hex Fight Series and Valor, the largest MMA events in Australia.
Dan Howard is a former Royal Marine Commando and a Muay Thai practitioner with a record of 8 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw with 2 bouts fought in Thailand.
He is a highly experienced and qualified coach, holding a Cert III in Fitness, Cert IV in Personal Training, Cert IV in Marital Arts Coaching, he is a registered Muay Thai trainer with the Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Board and is a Master Trainer Level 1. He has recently completed a Bachelors of Exercise and Sports Science.
Moses Bentley has over 15-years experience in competitive sport.
He is a qualified Personal Trainer holding a Cert III & IV in Fitness, he has completed the ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaching course and the AIK Level 2 Kettlebell Training course.
Moses has experience as a professional mixed martial artist and has also spent time on the rugby field and training in other sporting interests such as tennis and surfing.
Paul Bai is a qualified and experienced personal trainer and a Muay Thai practitioner with a record of 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.
Paul has a holistic training philosophy and he holds a Cert III & IV in Fitness, he is a ZUU Master Trainer, Powerplate Level 2 and is currently undertaking a Precision Nutrition Course.
He has trained athletes for AFL, rugby, basketball and martial arts as well as training individuals for permanent weight loss and lean muscle gains. He holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Peter Vela is an experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He has competed twice at the renowned Boa Super 8.
Steve started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2003 and was graded to Black Belt by Professor Thiago Steffanuti in 2016. Steve has competed at all belt levels and across Adult, Masters and Seniors age divisions with medals at State, National and International level.
Steve has been fortunate in that both of his coaches over the past 14 years have been advocates of the effectiveness of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in self-defence situations. He has taught self-defence classes to beginners and advanced students and his coaching style is relaxed, inclusive and thoughtful. Steve holds a First Aid qualification as well as professional training and coaching certifications through his employment outside of Martial Arts.
